Ever since Melody Halder was very young she's had a fiery, burning,
passion for everything. No one except her mother ever understood that and her mom used to tell her she practically lived in a fireplace. So when she hits her sophomore year in high school and her mom is killed an accident, she must learn to deal with her pain and take care of her distraught and now mentally ill father. All while trying to keep her passion for life and love as she walks everyday into the passionless void that is high school.
