Between love and the end

Misunderstandings in Alex's past life had severed ties between him and Leo, while schemes of Leo's brother, Oliver, made it irreversible.
Not until doomsday broke loose when, while Alex went on a mission, that traitorously-felt a deal with Leo's family, he was caught, and the sinister part of his superpower awakened: the vile strength that rendered him the enemy of mankind. Leo slowly started feeling that he was losing his humanity with Alex finding him and trying to do so by that time it was too late and Leo was already totally damaged.
To protect the new Leo, Alex began acting out, showing his true self only when the two were alone to heal Leo's scars but without gaining his full trust.
When an enemy used an omega to infiltrate the group of survivors, Alex quickly realized it, pretended to fall for the beauty trick, and took the omega into the forest to get rid of him. After all, it wasn't the first time they'd used this trick, and it always worked. However, Alex made a mistake because he didn't know the omega had a magical jade space around his neck, where another survivor was hiding, waiting for an opportunity to kill him. The last thing Alex saw before he died was the omega transforming his appearance, changing from omega to alpha, and handing the necklace to someone else, apparently another omega.
He wasn't sure why his vision was going dark, but all he could think about was Leo.
Reborn, awakened weak, sick, and trapped two years before the apocalypse, Alex must repair his relationship with Leo.
With the zombie apocalypse looming and the pressure from his family mounting, Alex and Leo must fight not only the future threat of the undead, but also the ghosts of their insecurities.
