Lucille Barlowe or Lucky, as everyone calls her. Once one of the most respected Kooks on the island due to her parent's money and reputation, due to her 'perfect' family. Now considered the Pogue princess by many at her choice of company.
Jasper Kantz, the serious head of the Pogues. Born and raised on the cut, his life seemed perfect except for the fact he lived on the cut of course. But as said by many, nobody knows what goes on in a household other than the people who live there and the four walls.
Sydney Freeman, the firm foundation, the Pogues comfort. The harmless butterfly everyone doesn't mind, harmless was so thought. The daughter of a bait shop owner, the daughter of her recently deceased mother.
Addison Cameron or Addy. A hot head like her brother, an angel like her sister. Everything Sarah did, she did. Everywhere Addison went, Sarah went. Everything Sarah knew, Addison knew, plus more. Sarah was the sheltered twin, Addison knew almost everything about her father, his treasuring hunting, his business, and how he treated Rafe.

In the beginning of the book the pogues seem to be an alley before Rafe and Jayde figure out they're secret. Soon enough Rafe and Jayde plan theyre revenge on the pogues for betraying them with the help of Rafes kook friends. Rafe begins to fall more and more in love with his best friend, Jayde. Jayde and Rafe learn that the don't need the pogues or the kooks since they have each other.
