Katherine Hunter never expected her life to be so . . . 'strange'. I mean having to deal with a demonic possession one week and a vengeful spirit haunting the next was definitely not what she imagined for herself. It was far from normal, but it seemed-being raised into that life-the outcome was unavoidable.
As of late, she found herself hunting on her own. However, when her father and John Winchester disappear without a word, she has no other choice than to team up with the familiar brotherly duo-Sam and Dean. Yet, after a few weeks on the road, her usual 'strange' started to seem like an understatement.
After Katie learned the reasons behind her father's disappearance-as well as John-things changed. More than she'd like to admit. At first, it felt like old times, being back with the Winchester boys-at least it seemed that way. However, as the days passed, she realized that the old times were idealistic considering all the troubles that seemed to gravitate towards them.
The single voicemail John left was like the beginning of a row of dominos. One new thing after the other, and it didn't seem to be slowing down. Then again, I guess it's just another day in the life of a Hunter. All she can do is try to take some advice from Kansas and 'Carry on' . . .
