Het begon allemaal met die ene nachtmerrie. Alles is afwaards gegaan sinds dan. En die vreemde donkere figuur die me overal volgt, maar ook in mijn dromen te voorschijn komt. Daisy onderstelde dat ze altijd gewoon haar leven zou lijden. Werken voor school, irritante tweeling broer negeren en alles doen om haar ouders trots te maken ook al hebben ze meer oog voor hun werk. Dat verandert allemaal wanneer ze Brian ontmoet. Hij is mysterieus knap en baant zich een weg door haar leven. Elke dag leert ze iets nieuws over hem kennen, maar als ze de waarheid te weten komt over hem. Zal ze dan nog geïnteresseerd zijn? Het lijkt alsof het lot hun samen wil hebben, maar willen anderen dat wel?

Why was it suddenly so difficult, so strenuous to keep living in her pastel world when this mysterious girl brought such bright colours with her?
