Born in the shadowy underbelly of Dis, Daelius quickly learned the art of the deal and the thrill of the gamble. With a mother who was a high-ranking member of the thieves' guild and a father who was a powerful sorcerer, he was destined for a life of trickery and arcane intrigue. As a child, he would often sneak into his father's study, fascinated by the mystical tomes and artifacts that lay scattered across the floor. It was during one of these escapades that he discovered his natural affinity for roguish tactics and a particular set of enchanted playing cards that would come to define his path.
