All The Young Punks - Sons of Providence is the first book in my Punks Universe series that spans more than two decades. ATYP is a story that begins inside the head of a teenager dealing with loss and trauma and channeling all his energy into one endeavor, to have a life in music. Rock & Roll is his sanctuary.

Joe Theroux was once beaten down. Now he stands tall and defiant giving the middle finger to the system; school, religion, and the expectations of adults who don't share his vision. He's a troubled young man whose state of mind is not always clear even as he focuses and works tirelessly to achieve his dream. Joe is a punk and what do punks do? They fuck up.

Punks is a story of family. You will live with Joe's family. His loyalty and love for his sisters are what mold him into a decent young man despite his many flaws. His family gave him all the tools he needed to succeed, except one... the ability to be happy. Even in his best moments, there's an underlying sadness from a loss long ago.

Joe's mission begins in high school with a 1970s garage band. He takes them as far as he can. When he turns eighteen his story contains sexual content. As he matures and ventures into the world that content grows more adult in nature. Eventually, he meets a girl who changes his life multiple times over decades.

All The Young Punks is the beginning of an epic Punk journey that traverses the world. You cannot imagine it... but I could.

The Edge of Misery: The Mitchel Brothers Series Book Two by BritCYancey
22 parts Complete
** Picks up where The Edge of Hell (Mitchell Brothers Series Book One) left off** If there's one thing Declan Mitchell learned from watching his mama almost die from the heartbreak of losing his daddy to a war nineteen years ago, it was that a great and powerful love delivered an equally devastating heartbreak and suffering-the kind he had every intention of avoiding like the bubonic plague. And until traveling west to Idaho Territory and coming face to face with the mismatch-eyed, auburn-haired beauty, Wren McCrawdon, he believed he might succeed in carrying out his plans of never marrying. Molded by her traumatic journey west when she was twelve, twenty-four-year-old, accident-prone Wren McCrawdon's life on her family's ranch in Falcon Ridge, Idaho, is full of back-breaking work, beginning as dawn's first rays peek across the mountains and ending long after the sun sets when she can barely drag her weary bones up the stairs to her bedroom. But from the morning Declan Mitchell and his family arrive, her miserable existence becomes more bearable until tragedy strikes when all she sees are the harsh realities of loss and suffering. Concerned for Wren's safety and remembering how bitter the edge of misery was after his daddy died-Declan discovers he's willing to do anything he can to take it away from her... even if it means a marriage of convenience is the only suitable solution. There are only two problems: first, it's already apparent he's following in his mama's footsteps toward eventual heartbreak, and second he somehow has to convince Wren to agree.

And for the first time in a long time... she's not alone. What happens next is nothing she could have imagined. A chance encounter, a moment of recognition-one night that could change everything. Our Hearts' Desire (The Monkees Family Vol. 2) by teareadknitsleep
46 parts Complete Mature
The Monkees finally hit the big time. They score a recording contract and a national tour, and become a sensation. Even as they sell millions of records and play to packed concert halls, however, they struggle for artistic and creative freedom, control of their image, respect from the music industry and critical acclaim. There are also tensions within the band, and Micky and Gabby quietly work to hold everyone together as the family they have become. In the meantime, everyone's personal life is on the ascendancy, with relationships and commitments becoming solidified and promises being fulfilled. With these changes come individual challenges and confrontations that threaten to rip the couples and even the whole group apart. Once again, it's the Monkees family bond as a whole that supports each member and keeps everyone on track. Most surprising of all, Micky and Davy find themselves changing from best friends to rivals. They're both in love with Gabby, and Micky has made some spectacularly bad choices that leaves the field open to Davy to swoop in and plead his case to Gabby. Who will she choose? This story contains sexually explicit passages. Don't read it if that bugs you. They're not gratuitous. They're there to advance the story and give it deep meaning. This is Volume 2 of a tetralogy of 4 stories. The series is called The Monkees Family. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction, based on the characters in the show The Monkees. No aspersions are meant.
