The thundering of hooves hitting the ground and the sound of blades scraping across the ice: two sounds that were equivalent to freedom for two separate people. Outside of academics, River Valley University is well known for their ice hockey team, the River Valley Eagles. The shelves in the dressing room display trophies from two consecutive championship titles and continue to keep their place in the number one spot in their division. The opposite end of campus is home to one of the school's lesser-known competitive teams: River Valley's equine show team. Shelves of ribbons, plaques, and trophies line the walls of their coaches' offices, putting them at the top of the list for the most wins out of all the school's competitive teams. Somehow, a member from each team managed to cross paths, but whether that's a good thing is yet to be determined. COVER BY @vueyhour
