     LOS ANGELES, 2020. An unexpected pandemic has sent the world as we know it into a major lockdown; luckily for the bored and the restless, streamers and podcasts have taken over the world and all its algorithms with it. True crime in particular is a hit, and although cybersecurity expert and small-time Twitch streamer Alex DeSantis has no interest in entering the exploitative world of breaking down real criminal mysteries for views, many names and faces haunt him wherever he clicks.

     When a series of bizarre, disturbing sites are recommended for coverage by several viewers, Alex realizes he must set aside his fears in order to rescue others from a deadly fate. The problem is, these sites have no ordinary host, and if Alex wants to uncover their identity, he'll need to shoulder the weight of the world just to change it...
