This work follows The Hunger Games book from the POV of an OC. Some of the plot will be changed and/or dialogue will be different. I will be following the original plot from the book as closely as possible, with some variations of differing scenes or text due to the OC insert. Also note: there's a last name naming convention for abandoned and orphaned children that is used throughout the districts. Willow's last name is Fairchild because of this. Fairchild is the most common surname for orphans, and is known throughout the districts to be for an orphaned or abandoned person. ALSO IMPORTANT: In this fanfic, Peeta and Katniss are aged up to 18, everybody else's ages are staying the same, don't come for me pls.
