Long ago, an attack on the Romano family, the biggest Mafia family in town, left a young girl blamed for her parents' deaths. Sent away for her own sake, she spends every moment reliving that awful day.

After eight long years of suffering, she is led back to her brothers. But they don't want her there, and they make sure she knows it. Not long after she's reunited with her family, a faceless enemy takes up arms against the Romano family. And there is nothing Allora can do, except watch as the world burns around her, knowing she'll burn right alongside it.

Until... maybe, just maybe, something changes, and Allora finds herself not quite so alone.
