After ten years of brainwashing and training, she was discovered by Natasha Romanoff and taken from the program and straight to The Avengers' headquarters. Eliza was untrusting and soured by her past. She was thrusted into the world of Super Heroes and Villains right when the Heroes were fighting each other. She didn't know whose side she was on, or if she even had a side to take. It wasn't until she met Peter Parker, the quirky, socially awkward web-slinger, that she finally started to understand where her loyalties were. *This takes place right before Civil War, then continues on after that.

Natasha Romanoff has been described as many things: a killer, cold, heartless, emotionally unavailable. And she is. But she was not always like that. She has a daughter, or had one. One that died during birth. Or at least that's what she was told. Because of that, she became all of those things. But her world is turned upside down when she finds out that not only is her daughter alive, but she grew up in the Red Room. She will do anything to have her daughter back with her. Will she find her daughter? Will her daughter know who she is and accept her? What will her daughter be like having grown up in the place that teaches their students to hate people like Natasha? "She was the secret her mother lost, and the truth she must now become." Some ages will be altered to fit the storyline better. The writing will get better as the story progresses, I promise!
