Kensuke Midori is nineteen years old now, and life is pretty good - they've been living in the city of Beigoma, Japan since they were thirteen; they've got a reliable circle of friends whom they share an unbreakable bond with; and their best friend, Daigo Kurogami, is finally going to compete in the semifinals of the beyblade national tournament after years of training.
But then Daigo's little brother gets sick. At first, Ken isn't worried: Ryota's survived cancer before, and he can do it again. But as he gets worse, Ken realizes that Daigo's mental health is going downhill as well . . . leaving Ken to realize some things about what their relationship could become before time runs out.
