This is part of my Forever series. A sequel I wrote to the Rock A Bye Hoss episode. 

The second annual baby contest is in Virginia City and Joe has entered his baby daughter, Sara Marie into the contest to the objection of his wife, Alice. Candy is then asked to be a judge in the contest, causing a rift between his and Joe's friendship.

Bonanza: "Forever" Reimagined by mrowe1992

Do you ever wonder what it would have been like in the episode titled Forever of the classic western series, Bonanza, if Joe's wife, Alice had lived and she had the baby and her and Joe lived happily ever after? I definitely have and I wished the show explored Joe's life as a husband and father and not have him remain the single flirtatious ladies man that he was. (Not that I didn't love him like that, haha.) Well, here is my attempt at just that, my own written version of Forever that I have titled, Forever Reimagined. The story for the most part will contain almost exact dialogue from the original episode mixed in with my own original dialogue as a respect to the late and brilliant Michael Landon and his beautifully written script. So if you've seen the episode, then you'll recognize a lot of the dialogue and actions. I also added Adam into the story because I think it would have been wonderful if he had came to Joe's wedding. I also used some ideas from the made for TV Bonanza movie, The Return from 1995 and even added a twist with Joe's late brother, Hoss. (Hoss's death will remain in the story out of respect to Dan Blocker.) I very much enjoyed writing this story as it was my first ever Bonanza story I had ever written being a big fan of the show and also to give the series a bit of closure since it never had a proper ending. But I hope you enjoy. Keep in mind, I am in no way a professional writer, this was more of me letting my creative mind go free and have fun! This is part of my Forever series and takes place a few months after The Return of April. As Candy and Hannah's wedding draws near, an old flame comes back into Hannah's life threatening her and Candy's upcoming nuptials. And to make matters worse, he was involved with one of the most notorious criminals, Doc Holliday. I got inspired by the Calamity Over the Comstock episode and decided to bring back the character of Doc Holliday. As always these stories are best read in order as they contain characters and events from my previous stories.

This is part of my Forever series. a retelling of the prodigal son story with Joe and Ben. Ever since becoming a husband and father, Joe becomes fed up with working for his Pa on the Ponderosa and wants to venture out on his own and create a new and more exciting life for his family when he comes across a mysterious businessman who offers him a job with exciting opportunities. Joe takes his family to Boston where his brother, Adam is living with his family. But Adam starts to become suspicious of the man's motives and suspects there's more to this man than he's leading Joe to believe. This is an original story I wrote with Joe and Adam. We didn't get many Joe and Adam episodes on the show and I loved exploring their dynamic as the oldest and the youngest brother and as always it's best my Bonanza stories are read in order as they contain characters and events introduced in my Forever story.
