In a land where kingdoms rule by the seasons, rebellion blooms like spring. Princess Xiomara Vongreen of Verdelis, the Spring Kingdom, has always lived under the shadow of tradition. As the second daughter, her fate is sealed: she must leave her home to wed the Crown Prince of Ardenthia, the Summer Kingdom, as part of an ancient law binding the seasonal realms of Tetralyss. But Xiomara refuses to accept a life dictated by duty and custom. When a daring escape goes awry, she finds herself under the care of a mysterious Madam from Aurora's House-a haven for women who have defied their own destinies at great cost. Among them, Xiomara begins to understand the sacrifices made for freedom and survival. As she meets Apothecary Salem, a man with his own tangled past, she learns that not every fight ends in victory, and not every wish is granted. But her kingdom has not forgotten her rebellion. As a search party closes in, Xiomara must decide: will she return to a life of obligation, or forge her own path in a world where the seasons are unyielding, and tradition wields a heavy hand?

Lilianne Marineau, aka Lili, a struggling writer like you and me, wakes up to find herself in the body of Arielle Dumont, the female protagonist in her own, half-written novel. What would happen next? She sure as hell doesn't know. At first, all Lili wants to do is survive, and is overcome with the feeling that she had been bound by chains of her own making. Soon enough, though, she realizes she had been atoning for the wrong thing--and maybe, just maybe it was not her fault. A story of a writer who has to live as a character in a world she hasn't quite fully developed yet. A terrible writer with terrible concepts of magic in a fantasy world--and yes, there are glitches. TW: anxiety/depression/existential crisis esp in the earlier chapters, but quite mild, nothing we all haven't experienced before (I think anyone would reasonably panic in MC's situation). Still overall fairly lighthearted
