Elara Vale is forced to go to the a mental hospital, Havenridge Asylum, after the physical and mental abuse of her uncle. She had never talked about it with anyone, thinking no one is going to listen. But, when she did tell and people found out, they thought she was crazy. That is when she stopped eating, stopped sleeping and stopped going to school. Then she got the thoughts....almost died. Being newer to the Asylum, she is untrusted, with getting into fights, until she saw him. Everything changed from there.

Felix Thorne has been always been at Havenridge Asylum, for as long as he could remember. His family throw him into the Asylum ever since "the incedent" at school happened. Since, then he knows that he will never fall in love again, with also being stuck in this hell hole...love is out of sight. His heart broke once and that's it for him. After Esacping the Asylum a few times too many,  he has been locked up for the most part until he saw her, after she got into a fight. His heart melted.
