Sophie and Lila were twins, but they couldn't have been more different. Lila was the outgoing, wild one who seemed to have it all together, while Sophie was quieter, kept to herself, and didn't like to share her feelings. But when Lila suddenly takes her own life, everything changes. Sophie is left to pick up the pieces, feeling lost and guilty for not seeing her sister's pain. What makes it worse? Lila's best friend, Walker Scobell, is also grieving, and he tries to help Sophie through it. But as much as Sophie wants to connect with him, she's too scared to open up. She's scared of getting close to anyone-especially since she feels like she didn't do enough to save her sister. Now, Sophie has to learn how to heal, forgive herself, and start over with the people who are still there-especially Walker, who might just be the person she needs most.
