When he doesn't move, I sigh and pick it up myself, pressing the edge to his lips. He finally takes a small sip, but as I pull the glass away, I lose my grip and spill water all over him.
It soaks through his shirt, and he groans in frustration.
"Great," he mutters, tugging at the damp fabric. His expression softens when he looks at me, but I feel my heart race a little.
"Sorry!" I exclaim, stepping back quickly, trying not to make things more awkward than they already are.
"It's fine," he grumbles, but then, to my shock, he starts unbuttoning his shirt.
"Seriously?" I blurt out, turning away in embarrassment.
My face feels like it's on fire.
"I hate being wet," he says, shrugging off the shirt completely. When I finally glance back, I'm hit with the unexpected sight of his toned chest, his abs defined under the dim lights.
I feel my cheeks heat up, and I quickly turn away, feeling awkward and embarrassed.
"You can't just walk around shirtless in a coffee shop," I manage to say, clearing my throat.
"Well, technically, you're closed," he says, flashing me a grin.
