Goddess of the Nebula

Imagine you're not human. Morality doesn't concern you and neither does the trivial mundane worry of death. You have existed for eons in the human eye, yet time means very little to you. How do you measure time in space when you are not travelling for a purpose, when you exist in the vacuum of nothingness and no star or planet controls you? Answer: you don't.
This is the life of a creature, his full power ripped from him in a moment of stupidity. Abandoned by his brothers to die miserable and surrounded by danger and forced to take the form of a human to survive, he wanders a galaxy in pain, waiting for his power to heal.
For centuries he has gone unnoticed, until he stumbles upon a ploy to disturb one of the oldest of his kind. He must now make a choice; choose to save the humans from a terrible fate or choose to save his brothers and sisters and start a war.
