Lucifer is the powerful and mysterious ruler of the sirens, a creature whispered about in fear and wonder by those who sail the seas. Alastor, a quick-witted pirate with a sharp tongue, works under the infamous Captain Adam. Adam is obsessed with proving sirens are real and won't stop talking about them. He's convinced they're the reason his wife, Lilith, died, claiming she was lured to her death by their haunting songs and wants to get revenge. But no one believes him-most think Lilith simply drowned, a tragic but ordinary end.

One stormy night, Alastor and his favorite crewmate, Rosie, sneak away to take their own ship out for a night voyage. Rosie is loud, funny, and the kind of person Alastor trusts most, even if she talks too much for his liking. The storm is wild, but that doesn't stop them-Alastor loves the thrill of it all. However, as the waves crash and lightning lights up the sky, Alastor finds himself face-to-face with the one thing Adam has spent his life searching for: a siren.

But this isn't just any siren-it's Lucifer. What starts as a dangerous encounter quickly becomes something neither of them expected, and the stormy seas might not be the most unpredictable force that night.
