After a secretive meeting with Hawks in an abandoned warehouse to exchange intel for a crucial flash drive, Dabi's plans take a disastrous turn when a random homeless person with an unpredictable transformation quirk strikes him. The attack leaves Dabi unconscious, and he unknowingly transforms into a small white cat with teal blue eyes. Still clutching the flash drive, he is discovered by Jess, a 22-year-old maid café worker, on her way home from a long shift. Unaware of the cat's true identity, Jess takes him in and brings him to her apartment.
Dabi wakes in Jess's apartment, surrounded by unfamiliar warmth and the curious gaze of her Egyptian Mau, Anubis. Struggling to process his new form, he begins to adapt to life in Jess's care while keeping his true identity hidden. As he spends more time with her, her kindness and genuine nature begin to break down his emotional barriers, and he finds himself unexpectedly falling in love with her.
