Ballineth  of Mirkwood had befriended Thorin Oakenshield when the great kingdom of Erebor still existed. They had been friends, and maybe even more. But the two are separated after Thranduil, King Of The Woodland Realm's, last visit. When they reunite on a quest to reclaim a homeland, will they be able to find the friendship that they once shared, or will the hatred between their races drive them apart? 



All rights go to Peter Jackson and J.R.R Tolkien, the creators of the characters and setting in this story. Ballineth, however is my own creation, as is the story between her and Thorin.
