Journey of a Seed

This is a short story I wrote a couple years back for a school project. It's a dramatic, personified take on the journey a seed must experience in order to surface above the earth's soil.
If I remember correctly, the assignment was, 'descriptive writing in nature.' It was required to, 'show, not tell.' You know, that infamous phrase you hear a million times in your English classes.

For clarification, the following 'monsters' are two beetles.
