Adira Melgren is the picture of what she is supposed to be as the famous General's daughter. Which just means that her father's plans worked and almost nobody knows who she really is. This is until she starts up in the riding quadrant at Basgiath War College and his perfect image comes crumbling along with their family secret.
She expected to lay low and ride out her schooling as under the radar as possible. She surely didn't plan on having a Section leader tracking her every move from the time she stepped on the parapet. She definitely didn't think the same section leader would be interested in her in any other way than out to get her blood.

As time goes on while they're in Basgiath, Garrick has started noticing how his stomach flutters whenever Kate walks into a room and the way that his breathing becomes shaky whenever she gives him one of her extra tight hugs.
