After Rengoku Kyoujuirou is pronounced dead at the scene. Right before they can prepare his bloodied and battered body for transfer, a sudden flash of blinding light engulfs him, and his body was gone.

Was it a Blood Demon Art? Or, did the heavens decide to take his body?

In the state of Georgia. You had just finished your night shift at a recently constructed Corner Store and were taking the back allies home. When from right across the street, a loud crashing noise sounded from another alley that lay right just ahead of you.

What was it? You Weren't sure you wanted to know.

But you won't leave someone who was possibly jumped, robbed and beaten at the moment, to their fate. You wouldn't be surprised if it was a black that was getting the awful treatment. What did surprise you, was that it wasn't that at all. Instead, it looked to be a foreign man with weird clothing, and from what you could see in the dark, it looked like he'd just been mugged and left to die a painful death. Or was he already dead?

Fortunately, you had someone in mind that could help him.

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬:

This a Rengoku Kyoujuirou x Reader fic. This is a legit fic, and will be a long slow romance. I'll try my best to get Rengoku's personality right, but can't guarantee that it will be.

First chapter is going to be slightly boring since, hey, it's the beginning of the story, so be patient with it.

Also, there might be lots of grammar mistakes since I don't have an editor.
