The café buzzed softly around them, but Serah and Alex were lost in their own world. He leaned forward, his eyes locking with hers. "I didn't expect to see you again," he murmured.

"Neither did I," she replied, her voice trembling just slightly.

"You've changed," Alex said, his tone both tender and amazed.

"So have you," Serah countered, a small smile playing on her lips.

He hesitated, then reached for her hand, his touch sending a spark through her. "You're all I've been thinking about."

Her heart raced as she whispered, "And you're all I've ever dreamed of."
