•Cassius's world isn't normal, people are born with gifts, curses, sometimes both and sometimes none.
After the tragic incident that killed his own mother Cassius went on with life to live alone.

Due to his so called gift, others couldn't get very near him for too long before they experienced pain and fainted.
°At this point it wasn't even a gift, only a curse he couldn't control°

The silence he got from staying away from others in fact didn't last long before getting kidnapped and forced to travel the scorching desert with 4 other assholes who won't shut up. Perhaps the jungle or icy grounds would've been better to travel across ;)

He and the others face multiple obstacles, from being used as sacrifices to being dragged under the sand.

And did I mention the cults? Cuz yeah that's a big part of the plot too.

What will Cassius and his friends do? Will they be able to survive or will they all starve to death leaving their bodies to be used by the cultists.
