In a world where Shadowhunters are superior to Downworlders, Alexander Lightwood finds himself taking the well-known and dangerous case of the warlock, Magnus Bane.
While searching for clues, Alec suddenly finds himself waking in a strange cottage room... in Magnus Bane's BED...
After eventually agreeing to help each other find a warlock child named Madzie, the two form a truce not to harm each other. But afterwards, they agree to do all of the harming and killing that comes with the Warlock Bane case.
But what happens if they find themselves not wanting to hurt each other? Growing closer and closer, inevitably? Questioning the beliefs they've been raised to know about each other?
