It's been one year since Ladybug defeated Monarch once and for all... except no one knows the truth about what really happened. That is, until one fateful day...
Chrysalis has exposed Ladybug's lie to the entire world, turning everyone against her... including Chat Noir. With the help of a mentor she thought she'd never see again, Marinette must gather a team of her truest friends to find the one secret that will help her defeat Chrysalis for good. But time is running out... and her and Chat Noir's partnership is the key to saving everything.
Will Ladybug pull it off? Or was she doomed the day Gabriel Agreste became a "hero"?

Ladybug is in love with Adrien but her new found love for Chat Noir has caused her to avoid him. Chat Noir's Love for Ladybug begins to fade as he realises she will never love him, the way he wants her to. Chat Noir goes to Marinette seeking advice while Marinette seeks comfort. The two of them form a bond that's so strong that it makes sparks fly between them. But Hawkmoth is more desperate than ever to get the Miraculous'. Using 2 Villains to find out Ladybug's and Chat Noir's weaknesses, he akumatises one of the most powerful villains who bring destruction and Havoc upon all of Paris. Chat Noir's identity has been revealed in the worst possible way imaginable - In front of a nation-wide broadcast crew while facing an Akuma. His life is shaken dramatically, nothing can be the same again, and there is only one source of stability for both Adrien Agreste and Chat Noir now. Meanwhile, Marinette has to come to terms that the person she's admired and her occasionally irritating but trustworthy partner, are one in the same, all while reeling from visits from a certain cat she's grown particularly fond of. Akumas never existed in this fictional story, and Hawkmoth doesn't ethier. But their Miraculous' still live on. Now, you would think that with no Akuma and no villains that were evilized to fight, that means that Adrien and Marinette just keep Tikki and Plagg around as pets, right? Wrong. You see, Chat Noir is the most wanted, most sneaky, and most flirtatious villain in Paris, France. He is a thief, a vandalizer, and is always masked. No one knew who the real Chat Noir was. Some things are better off known... Marinette and Adrien are tasked with the hard job of protecting Paris from akumas, as their alter-egos Ladybug and Chat Noir. They always won in the end, saving the day and keeping their Miraculouses. Ladybug, along with her Lucky Charm, always made things better in the end. They always enjoyed saving their city, even if that meant they could never know who the other one was. At least, until this akuma. This one's different. Stronger... faster... smarter... Almost deadly. But, this akuma makes them realize the truth, when Chat gets taken down. Will Ladybug help him? Will they both accept each other? They need each other. Not just to defeat Hawkmoth.
