It's been one year since Ladybug defeated Monarch once and for all... except no one knows the truth about what really happened. That is, until one fateful day.

When Lila exposes Ladybug's lies to the world, all of its citizens turn against her, including Chat Noir. Marinette is forced into action against all odds, with help from a mentor she never thought she would see again. 

While Marinette is desperately racing to defeat Chrysalis for good, she and Adrien each face their own inner turmoils. Is their love for one another strong enough to survive this one last hurdle? Or were they doomed ever since Gabriel Agreste became a "hero"?

This is my first fanfic, kind critiques and advice are welcome! These characters and the Miraculous belong to Thomas Astruc.

In fact, the Healer was pleased that they know knew each other, and was more pleased that they were both there. He told them of a weapon that could defeat Hawkmoth: a gauntlet that could be found in Tibet. Now, Ladybug and Chat Noir embark on a quest to Tibet in hopes to find this gauntlet, take down Hawkmoth, and return the butterfly miraculous to the healer. But not all went the way they planned.
