Drask spent years feeling like he was in the wrong skin because he was a male in a females body. Nobody including his parents believed that was what he wanted at first. Until at the age of ten he met a merman caught in a net near the secluded beach. He released the merman but realized he was to hurt to move. So everyday he would visit the merman giving up food and making sure it's wounds we're always clean. As a month or so went by they grew closer together. Soon enough the merman was healed enough to leave. However before he left he gave Drask his mate braid. Telling him if he ever saw him again he would become his mate. Soon enough after the merman left Drask's mother revealed that he was half mermaid. Not only that but with his magic he was able to change from female to male. After he learned that he took to the sea exploring the ocean in a boat. He would dive into the water and his mermaid form and took videos of the sea below. Unfortunately one day he went too close to a mermaid settlement.
