The date is March 15th, 2079, and the galaxy is in crisis. The IMDC (Interstellar Mining and Defense Corps) has established an illegal blockade of Epsilon Three, and the people of the Haven Colony are forced to endure a brutal merciless occupation. Meanwhile, Justin Carnell, a soldier serving in the Solar Defense Corps, is about to embark on his first assignment as the Captain of a Starship. He's given command of the newly commissioned SDC Helena, and his mission is to take it out on a shakedown cruise. While getting to know his ship and crew, Justin encounters a shuttle carrying an important passenger. The passenger is revealed to be a colonist from Epsilon Three who escaped the Planet to inform the Solar Defense Corps about the blockade. With no time to waste, Justin Carnell and his crew must take their ship to Epsilon Three and break the blockade before the people starve. Will Justin and the crew of the SDC Helena defeat the IMDC and free the people of Epsilon Three?
