Taehyung's fingers traced the edges of the worn photograph, his eyes locked on Jungkook's bright smile. It was an old picture, one from the carefree days when they were inseparable.

4 years had passed since they'd last spoken, four since the misunderstandings and lies had torn them apart. Taehyung's mind wandered back to the memories they'd shared - the laughter, the adventures, the quiet moments when it was just the two of them.

As he stood in his office, surrounded by the trappings of his success as CEO of Kim's Enterprises, Taehyung felt a pang of emptiness. He'd thought he'd moved on, that he'd left the past behind. But the truth was, he'd never let go of the feelings he'd had for Jungkook.

The photograph seemed to burn in his hand, a reminder of what could never be again. Or so he thought.
