She was meant to be an offering. He was never meant to care.

Guinevere is a gifted earth-mage from Avalon, raised to heal fields and tend soil-not navigate royal politics. So when she's summoned across the world, she assumes it's for her magic. It's not. She's been offered as a potential bride for King Arthur.

He's immortal. Composed. Bound to a throne that spans continents. He expects a political alliance-cold, clean, and convenient. Not a stubborn earth-mage with a sharp tongue and no interest in playing queen.

But when a deadly artefact resurfaces in Egypt-one tied to death, gods, and a war long buried-they're thrown together on a mission that could shatter the magical world.

Secrets rise. Tensions snap. And what begins as politics starts to burn.

Camelot meets The Mummy in this sharp, slow-burn romantasy of crowns, curses, and a love that was never supposed to happen.

Sir Lancelot, his faithful First Knight. Guinevere, Arthur's promised bride. Garreth, her best friend and cousin, the son of Merlin (Myrddin), the great wizard. It sounds just like the Arthurian Legend, doesn't it? But... What if everything happened differently? What if the young Princess Guinevere was not so keen on marrying Prince Arthur, whom she met... when he came for a week-long sightseeing tour to her father's kingdom accompanied by dashing Sir Lancelot? What if she was... dressed as a knight, pretending to be a bodyguard hired for the visitors? And... What if it was 'a she', who was destined to pull the sword from the stone and thus unite the kingdoms? This is my version, a humorous retelling of the famous legend, a medieval fantasy- coming of age- romantic comedy. *This story is purposely historically innacurate, set in some parallel, fantastical Britain that is different from what it had really been in the past, even though I'm using real locations, historically confirmed battles, and the Saxons as enemies of my legendary King Arthur.
