When he transferred to Shujin Academy, he met Ren Amamiya, who just like him was falsely accused for a crime he didn't commit, and was put on probation. When the two and a boy from Shujin accidentally stumble into a mysterious world thanks to a mysterious app called the Meta-Nav and they learn they can steal hearts of unruly adults and corrupt people as they don their masks to learn the truth of their world and stop the coming ruin.
