*Part one out of the Chicken Series, a series in which only consists of stories and books about chickens. It was once believed that chickens' only purpose was to lay eggs for the humans to eat and provide meat, however, in Magnolia Blossom Chicken Coop, that's not the way it works. There, chickens rule the world - and the only purpose of humans is to provide the chickens new friends from dealerships. In April of 2020 five new baby chicks enter Magnolia Blossom Chicken Coop upon living in a brooder for two weeks, away from their mother: Meadow, Lavender, Dolly, Mae, and Etta. These five baby chicks begin to grow accustomed to the way things work at the chicken coop.. but of course things don't work out perfectly! These baby chicks have to endure the many downsides of being a chicken - predator attacks - and growing pains - sneaking out of the chicken coop.

THREE LAWS OF LIGHTHAVENS Law One Do not leave a Lighthaven without permission. There are dangerous plants that could kill or infect you. A Quakeroot can annihilate an entire convoy. Stormblossoms create whirlpools and catch their prey in underwater roots. Law Two Stay away from any plant that could be dangerous. Do not touch it, eat it, smell it, or go near it. Accidental ingestion can result in melting stomachs, giant boils, or weeds sprouting out of eye sockets. Also, there is the possibility of becoming a Wild: one becomes a Blood Demon by merely touching a berry. Law Three Report anyone with plants growing on their bodies. Wilds are a threat and must be eliminated immediately. Fire Grove has reported sightings of Crows, recognizable by the long Darkblades growing from their arms and back. They are liars and murderers. The worst Wild is the Green Witch. She has lime-green eyes and emerald vines instead of hair. Avoid her at all costs.

You're just a human living in the 31st century. Your parents have not been around a whole lot, so drones became your primary caregivers. This has molded the way you see people and drones as a whole and has made it difficult for you to fight the feeling you're beginning to develop for one drone in particular.
