The world we, humans, know is quite advanced and to some, perfect. But is it the same, for all other beings? Nope, as much as we enjoy it, the others might even hate it. Of course, it isn't our fault that the Human race became more evolved, but we might be the ones to blame for not letting the others be on their own. This, is the story about a little bird, who lives in a cage more or less throughout his whole life, till he finally gets a chance to escape prison-life forever. What does Fate have in store for him? THREE LAWS OF LIGHTHAVENS Law One Do not leave a Lighthaven without permission. There are dangerous plants that could kill or infect you. A Quakeroot can annihilate an entire convoy. Stormblossoms create whirlpools and catch their prey in underwater roots. Law Two Stay away from any plant that could be dangerous. Do not touch it, eat it, smell it, or go near it. Accidental ingestion can result in melting stomachs, giant boils, or weeds sprouting out of eye sockets. Also, there is the possibility of becoming a Wild: one becomes a Blood Demon by merely touching a berry. Law Three Report anyone with plants growing on their bodies. Wilds are a threat and must be eliminated immediately. Fire Grove has reported sightings of Crows, recognizable by the long Darkblades growing from their arms and back. They are liars and murderers. The worst Wild is the Green Witch. She has lime-green eyes and emerald vines instead of hair. Avoid her at all costs.

Most of us pay no attention to the pests that live around us. However, when you find one, what do you usually do? Swat a fly? Squish a cockroach? Stomp on a spider? In a world where mankind is not the dominant species and giant creatures that look at mankind in the same way you would look at a rat, vermin. Except these cruel monsters take pleasure in making sport of people when they find them. For too long mankind has been scarce and scattered abroad, and too long have they lived in this oppression. Someone has to do something about this, right? After all, could rodents overthrow the dominant species? How could rodents overthrow giants?

(ONLY A COUPLE CHAPTERS BEFORE THE END OF THE BOOK!!) A new position opened up in the pizza plex, guess who got the gig? Your job is to follow everything they need from you. To be in suit for anything they need done. You've never liked being.. A leader, or... ugh, social. So this'll be perfect! But... What else could you do, especially if you're too attached, to the Sun and the Moon? It's not like they'll ever let you go, once they start getting that way too. - Wow! This'll be my THIRD story about them! This story will follow a good amount of plot, and takes place before the fire. Y/n is gender neutral! (I tried making them as realistic as anyone would normally act in these situations. So sorry if it doesn't apply to you!) Can't promise full fluff. This is a yandere book after all, though since it may take a bit to get to that bit, you can expect some. Chances of no written smut, but there's many sex jokes, and a couple implications. Sun and Moon will be having an equal amount of story by the end of this! Not a slowburn? Though, it's slightly on the verge of it. Feelings aren't established quickly either.
