*Part one out of the Chicken Series, a series in which only consists of stories and books about chickens. It was once believed that chickens' only purpose was to lay eggs for the humans to eat and provide meat, however, in Magnolia Blossom Chicken Coop, that's not the way it works. There, chickens rule the world - and the only purpose of humans is to provide the chickens new friends from dealerships. In April of 2020 five new baby chicks enter Magnolia Blossom Chicken Coop upon living in a brooder for two weeks, away from their mother: Meadow, Lavender, Dolly, Mae, and Etta. These five baby chicks begin to grow accustomed to the way things work at the chicken coop.. but of course things don't work out perfectly! These baby chicks have to endure the many downsides of being a chicken - predator attacks - and growing pains - sneaking out of the chicken coop.

Birds are some of the most diverse creatures to ever live. They are very intelligent, too, some even using tools and speaking small snippets of human words. Some can see a greater range of colors than we can, and outsmart us in some facets of object-permanence. In The Aviary, though, some birds have more powers than just that. There are fire pheasants, birds with bright plumage that can shoot fire from their beaks. There are speaking grey cockatoos, able to quickly and efficiently learn languages. There are fanged vultures, people-sized creatures that can crush bones in their jaws. But most mysteriously there are the witching birds, unlike anything anyone has ever hoped to see...

Most of us pay no attention to the pests that live around us. However, when you find one, what do you usually do? Swat a fly? Squish a cockroach? Stomp on a spider? In a world where mankind is not the dominant species and giant creatures that look at mankind in the same way you would look at a rat, vermin. Except these cruel monsters take pleasure in making sport of people when they find them. For too long mankind has been scarce and scattered abroad, and too long have they lived in this oppression. Someone has to do something about this, right? After all, could rodents overthrow the dominant species? How could rodents overthrow giants?

I never expected this to happen. But it did. Who knew that rescuing a broken winged canary would lead to me being able to transform? It would seem like a blessing to most, and in a way, it is. Except for the fact that I'm kinda, sorta... On the run. Sometimes, people refer to me as the girl who speaks to birds. And I guess I am. ***Highest Ranking: #95 (8-28-15)*** I wrote this when I was 11 - 12, it definitely has its flaws, I am aware of them. All the same, people enjoy this book, so I'm keeping it up. 𝑳𝑰𝑸𝑼𝑰𝑫𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵 Working at a large and controversial PizzaPlex associated with Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria that was torn years ago seemed like a bright idea to (Y/N), a feisty airhead who was currently collecting dust in her wallet. A lover of children, she applied for a position inside the daycare, where she heard that she would be assisting the childcare animatronic that was made to take care of children in large groups and keep them entertained with puzzles, puppet shows, glitter glue, and movies. Optimistic as ever the female did her best approach to the situation but once she met the daycare attendant, her positive attitude was demolished by the not-so-bright Sun and the counterpart she had yet to learn about. Gaining his trust would prove to be difficult, but (Y/N) couldn't give up, she needed the money after all. After eventually gaining the trust of the solar animatronic, he begins to change drastically. His stares softened and strayed from hate over the ongoing months, and his fans sped up increasingly whenever she'd come too close to him. If only she'd realized sooner that Sun's stares had become looks of longing and of lust, if only she knew what went on through their shared headspace, and if only she had been less dense, maybe she wouldn't be running for her life.
