In the quiet, coastal town of Havenridge, a strange phenomenon begins to unfold. Every full moon, the ocean tide pulls back far beyond the usual shoreline, exposing a labyrinth of ancient ruins. Within these ruins, townsfolk whisper of a curse linked to a centuries-old feud between two powerful families-the Lycanders, known for their wolf-like cunning, and the Solvans, revered for their healing and light magic. Both families mysteriously vanished nearly 200 years ago after a devastating battle during a lunar eclipse.

The protagonist, Mira Valen, a spirited 19-year-old college dropout, returns to Havenridge after her mother's disappearance. She inherits a crumbling inn near the coastline, where she discovers journals and artifacts revealing that her family is directly tied to the Lycanders. As Mira delves into her ancestry, she learns that the Lycanders weren't just werewolves-they were Moonbound, capable of controlling their transformations by siphoning lunar energy from relics hidden in the ruins.

Things take a dark turn when Cassian Solvan, a brooding stranger with a mysterious past, arrives in town seeking the same relics. Cassian claims he's the last of the Solvans and accuses Mira of being the key to reigniting the ancient feud. Despite their animosity, the two are forced to work together after discovering a third party-The Shadows, a cult worshipping a lunar deity-is hunting both families to claim the relics for their own sinister plans: to unleash eternal darkness.

In a future where one family holds dominion over an entire system of planets, the Soladrens live in opulence beyond imagination. But their wealth and power have bred complacency, corruption, and a dangerous detachment from the people they rule. Beneath their glittering empire, rebellion simmers in the slums of industrial worlds, fueled by anger and despair. Cressida Soladren, the calculating matriarch of the dynasty, knows the family's decay cannot be ignored-not if they wish to maintain control. Desperate for a solution, Cressida turns to an ancient philosophy: suffering as a crucible for strength. She devises a daring experiment-a "swap" to force understanding between the ruling elite and the oppressed. Lyra Soladren, her rebellious and entitled daughter, is sent to live among the Grounders, the lowest rung of society, to experience their struggles firsthand. In exchange, Dax Marent, a charismatic and ruthless rebel leader, is brought into the Soladren fold, offered the education and resources of the family he seeks to destroy. As Lyra battles to survive in a world where her family name is a curse, she discovers unexpected humanity and strength in the people she once scorned. Meanwhile, Dax navigates the decadent halls of the Soladrens' moon palace, using his newfound access to learn their weaknesses. But as rebellion ignites across the system, both Lyra and Dax find themselves questioning their roles. Can they dismantle the systems of suffering from within, or will they be consumed by the very power they seek to challenge?

The Starlight Pact by chailatte24
25 parts Ongoing
In this world, humans live unaware of the existence of magic, but some possess latent abilities-like the ability to manipulate elements. These people are born into powerful families that control magic, and each family is bound by an ancient pact made long ago, a pact that prohibits their magical powers from being used outside of their realms. However, there is one loophole: the rarest of "starlight-born" individuals can create a link between realms, and these people are born once every century. Our protagonist, Lyra, is a young woman who has grown up in a family with no magical bloodline. She's spent most of her life feeling like an outsider, knowing her family is poor and ordinary, while others live in splendor thanks to their magical heritage. One night, after a strange celestial event, she begins to develop strange abilities-powers that seem to transcend the natural world. Meanwhile, Dorian, the mysterious heir to the Fire Realm, comes into her life. He's seen the prophecy of the Starlight Pact-the rare individual who can bridge the gap between the realms-and believes Lyra is the one destined to reunite the fractured magic. But there's a catch: the pact is tied to love, and the connection between them is not just magical-it's romantic. As their bond grows, they uncover a dark conspiracy within the magical families. Some believe the pact should never be fulfilled, fearing it will destroy the delicate balance between realms. Now, Lyra and Dorian must navigate their budding romance, with trust, betrayal, and danger closing in from every side. The fate of their worlds rests on whether their love can transcend the boundaries between magic and reality.
