The Healer

A hundred years ago, there was a prophecy created. It spoke of the folk draining the land of its magic, making the crops and all plants die in the country. It also spoke of a particular witch whose magic could heal the land.
In the land of Esmar, magic possesses all of its inhabitants. By the time one turns sixteen, the person's magic reveals itself by creating the people into different things - witches/warlocks, vampires, werewolves, demons, and elves. So when one of the people in the village of Summerrest doesn't have powers like everyone else she's ever known.
Annora Baker, upon turning twenty four, has long since accepted that she's different. She'd been called everything in the book, had been abused, neglected, rejected. There lived one man who never treated her any differently, a man named Cassian Blackwater. Her life all changed when one particular night, she had a strange dream wherein she saw the truth. She is the Healer, the only one who could heal the land.
Cassian Blackwater was the Duke of Summerrest, though he had no care for it. The people were all rotten and cruel. They could rot for all he cared. All of them took what he gave them for granted, and only one of the villagers seemed to see the people as they were, a beautiful woman called Annora. Try as he might, she was always on his mind.
His magic presented itself to turn him into an elf - a Dark Elf to be exact, the type with the strongest magic of the elves. However, the woman seemed to be... plain. It was a welcome change, he had to admit. It added to her allure.
When the crops and trees around Summerrest begin to brown and begin to rot, the prophecy seems to hold more weight. After her dream, Annora seems to be the Healer. Join her as she discovers her power, and her self-worth.
