However Finn is hiding a secret-he has a girlfriend back on the Ark, and their forbidden chemistry complicates everything. 

When Clarke's best friend is kidnapped by the ruthless Grounders, she sacrifices herself to secure his release, becoming a captive of Bellamy Blake, who is a ruthless Grounder war general and Second to Commander Lexa. He has no trust for the Sky People. But as she faces off with him, sparks fly in a tense, dangerous game of survival-and attraction amidst the political wars across the Grounder Clans.
