Chocolatey Snowflakes

All her life, teenage girl Arise Nakajima has lived in a two story tall orphanage in the countryside. Four and a half months after her eighteenth birthday, she is kicked out in the late afternoon by its staff members alongside her childhood friend Binta Miura, who is older than her by a week. Consequently having to leave the area, they go to Yokohama and are forced to sleep on the city's streets. After several days of this, they discover young detective Osamu Dazai trying to drown himself in the river before them. Arise takes off her shoes and jumps into the river to pull him out of it while Binta watches. The two teens and the young man are quickly found by his friend Sakunosuke Oda and current partner Doppo Kunikida. Afterwards leaving the area, the five people head to a nearby restaurant where both teens relay their situation to the three young men.
