Thomas Paine's 1775-1776 pamphlet Common Sense is a 47-page document that advocated for independence from Great Britain for the Thirteen Colonies. The pamphlet was written in simple language and appealed to the common sense of all people. It made a strong case for separation, condemned monarchy, and seized public opinion. The pamphlet was originally published without Paine's name, and all royalties were donated to the Continental Army.

Minority's Voice: A Novelette

6 partes Concluida

On December 16, 1773, the colonists were sick of the British rule. So late at night, they went to the Boston Harbor, boarded the 3 ships, and dumped the tea into the water. This event, commonly known as "The Boston Tea Party," led to the fight for independence in America. The colonists who participated in this event were all white americans. But- what if they weren't? A different side of the same story, read about a young slave named Darcaue, who will show readers what it might have been like to be apart of such a historic event- as a black man. *This story is about 10,000 words or 18 pages long*
