Arabella DeLaine Baudelaire has been Caroline Merteuil's best friend for as long as they could remember. Growing up together they did everything, and that did not change once they both attended Manchester College. Caroline worked her way up to being Delta Phi Pi's president, while Arabella was right alongside her as Delta Phi Pi's Vice President.
Being best friends with Caroline also meant being around her step-brother a lot.
Lucien Belmont.
He's known for sleeping around with most of Manchester College's population. But the one girl he hasn't been with is Arabella. She's always made fun of him for it, that she's the only girl he can never have. But he loves a good challenge.
Arabella and Lucien have always had a little rivalry in their relationship. They loved to rile each other up with their backhanded comments and flirty ways. Though they don't always get along, they have a lot more in common than they think, they just don't know it.
Both have their ways with the opposite sex, both never show their true colors to others, both have major mommy and daddy issues, and both feel a certain burning tension when they're in close proximity to each other.
They are just too scared to act on it.
Because in both of their minds, it's a bad idea...right?
