Aelin has just started to consider Rowan as a friend, but then he goes and ruins it all. In her desperation, she tries to travel to the land of the dead, but ends up in Prythian instead. What will happen to her there? Will Rowan find her again?
Rowan realized the damage that his words have done, and travels to find her. In the process, he discovers that she is her mate.
Rhys and the Inner Court are dealing with the war when Aelin, quite literally, dropped into their lives. What will happen when Rhys, Cassian, and Azriel discover that they are her mates, but don't know that she had four different mates.
