For quite a long time, humanity has feared a lot of things, always with their reasons. The darkness for the creatures that lurked on it, the sea for its unlimited length and known depths and the heights for their high chance of killing them if they were clumsy enough. However, there's one thing that has always made scientists question themselves. Why do humans fear what looks human but isn't one? Why do they enter a fight or flight state at such a sight? Is it because it was a good mechanism to avoid sick people? Was it developed as a defense against the neanderthal's cannibalism? Or is there something lurking among humans?
