It is a short novel that is based on Zayn's point of view on life after being neglected by both parents due to his questioning of their habits. He is chased from home and forced to dive into crime to earn a livelihood and it gets the better of him. He lives in as life that is evenly comparable to that of a cartoon character. He goes on a wild goose chases with the police until he shoots himself in one on Christmas after reflecting on his past trauma when he had no way to run.
