Beyond the Frame follows the journey of Andy Ng Ayutthaya, a shy, introverted 21-year-old Sarawakian-Thai actor who lands his first major role in a popular BL drama. As he struggles with the pressures of fame, nerves, and living up to expectations, he is paired with the charismatic and experienced actor, Kim Kirawit Wongravee. Together, they take on the roles of a pair of star-crossed lovers, captivating audiences worldwide.

Behind the camera, Andy faces constant criticism from the director, yet his determination to improve keeps him moving forward. With Kim's mentorship, Andy begins to find his footing, but it doesn't come without its struggles. The first press tour introduces the public to Andy, who is still finding his confidence, and as he navigates the world of media attention, he wonders: will he ever be able to overcome his self-doubt?
