Below are four personal experiences of my encounters with racism.
1) One day, me and my family were riding in the car to or from somewhere. While at a stoplight, there was a white middle-aged male that gave us a hateful look. (I can't remember if anyone else besides me noticed). Anyways, my intuition kicked in, and I just knew that that guy was racist.
2) At one of my old jobs, there was a young white female that repeatedly referred to me as a "n****r"! (By the way, I've never reported this incident to my boss at that job! I've only ever shared this with a close family member)...
3) During my senior year of college, the following was said about me, "That b***h looks like Harambe"!, and, "She needs to go back to Africa"!
4) At another particular job (which is different from the job I'm talking about above), another white middle-aged male stated that he would not be served by a "n****r" (referring to me)! I know this because I could hear this man within earshot distance at my cash register; and, I was the only black employee working there at the time that this statement was said.
