A story of love, heartbreak, and rekindled emotions-where two souls, once inseparable, were torn apart by time and circumstances. Years later, their paths cross again in a world of success, power, and unresolved feelings. She built walls around her heart, while he held onto memories of what once was. Their encounters are fiery, filled with unspoken words, sharp banter, and undeniable tension. As the past resurfaces, so does the love they tried to bury. But can they overcome the pain, the betrayals, and the years spent apart to find their way back to each other? . . . . . . . . . She leaned against the wall, smirking. "You should've stayed gone." He stepped closer, eyes dark. "You should've stopped waiting." Her breath hitched. "Who said I waited?" His fingers traced her jaw. "Then why do you still shiver when I'm this close?" She grabbed his wrist. "Disgust." He smirked. "Is it? Because disgust doesn't make your pulse race." Her nails dug in. "I hate you." He caged her in, lips hovering near hers. "Then stop looking at me like you're dying to hate me closer." Her breath stalled. His lips-so close, too close. The warmth of him seeped in. Realization struck like fire. She shoved him back, chest heaving. "Stay away." He wiped his jaw, grinning. "Liar."
