When explorers Alfred and Andrew break the seal of an ancient chamber deep within a forgotten cave, they unleash a horde of monstrous, bloodthirsty bats-and something far worse. These bats, harbingers of a malevolent ancient force, spread death and chaos across the city. Gravely injured and missing an arm, Alfred escapes the cave as the sole survivor, but his warnings to the authorities fall on deaf ears.
