Welcome to Percy Middle School, the world's first AI-powered academy, where humans don't teach, robots don't rule, and learning is anything but boring. At the heart of it all is Judy, the cutting-edge artificial intelligence who runs the entire school. She's the teacher, the lunch lady, the hall monitor, and, honestly, cooler than any human staff member could ever be. At least, that's what seventh-grader James Humphrey-better known as Free-and his friends think.

Free is the class clown with a knack for making people laugh until milk shoots out their noses. His squad includes Brancher, the soccer prodigy with a laid-back vibe; Toots, a tomboy who's just realizing boys might not be so gross after all; and John John, the low-key genius who'd rather eat his tablet than admit he aced a test. Together, they navigate a school unlike any other.

But not everyone loves Judy. A group of disgruntled former teachers has formed the League Against Machine Education-better known as L.A.M.E. Determined to bring Judy down and reclaim their jobs, L.A.M.E. will stop at nothing, even if it means burning Percy Middle to the ground.

When chaos strikes, it's up to Free and his friends to save Judy, uncover the truth behind a fiery conspiracy, and prove to everyone that the future of learning might just be worth fighting for. With occasional bean bags instead of desks, no teachers allowed, and a whole lot of laughs, the stakes have never been higher-or more fun.
